Jorfi has three bed and breakfast rooms which cost from £70 per night with vegetarian breakfast with freshly made products.
ABOUT US
Jorfi is on the Island of Burray a small island in the south eastern corner of Scapa Flow, perfectly situated for a quick drive to Pentland Ferries to catch the early morning ferry.​ We have 3 bed and breakfast rooms available.

Svefnhus is located on the ground floor with TV, dressing room and en-suite with bath and shower over, all self contained. With sea views. Sleeps 2 people.

Herbergi is located on the ground floor with Smart TV, integrated wardrobe with a shared shower room, use of lounge at front of house where you can sit and soak up the views. Sleeps 2 people.

Liggja is located on the first floor with TV, ample storage space. With garden view. Use of lounge upstairs. Sleeps 2 persons.

The rooms are available on a nightly basis, from £70 per room, per night, bed and breakfast.

The whole house has wi-fi available. The password is on the welcome pack.
Garden
Jorfi has a open plan garden with a sitting area to take in the views of Scapa Flow. Off-road parking. A garage where you can store your bicycles
Toiletries
Towels and Toiletries are in each bedroom for your use.
Please ask for extra pillows.
Kitchen
Guests will have the opportunity to use the kitchen/diner for consumption of bring home meals, all I ask is that it is left tidy please. We are to wash clothes for a small charge of £5 per load
Transport
If you are coming to Orkney by air or arriving on the Pentland Ferry, we can pick you up for a small charge.

Exploring Orkney
Wet Day Actvities
Nearby you could spend a few hours at the Orkney Fossil and Heritage Centre. There are two swimming pools on the mainland of Orkney, one in Stromness, and one in Kirkwall. The Pickaquoy Centre has a range of activities to suit all ages.

Workshop and Loft Gallery: The Workshop is a craft producers' co-operative in the picturesque village of St Margaret's Hope.
Getting to Orkney
Pentland Ferries sails from Gills Bay to Margaret's Hope our nearest ferry terminal.
Northlink Ferries provides the Island with two ferry services, one from Shetland or Aberdeen which docks in Kirkwall (12 miles away) and one from Scrabster which docks in Stromness (25 miles away) The local airport is 11 miles away. Local buses have a regular service, X1 that stops just a 5 minute walk from our house.
Cultural Sites
Jorfi is situated on the Magical Island of (Broch) Burray. Nearby is the Tomb of the Eagles, Tomb of the Otters, A 30 minute drive will enable you to visit the heart of Neolithic Orkney, with the Standing Stones of Stenness ,the Ring of Brodgar , the Ness of Brodgar and Maeshowe . Skara Brae and Skaill House are a situated in Sandwick , a 45 minute drive.
Visitors passes are available for a range of sites on Orkney.
Local Wildlife
We have numerous Nature Reserves on Orkney run by the RSPB.
